HILL AEVIUM RECEIVES TWO ADVERTISING AWARDS ON BEHALF OF GRAND JUNCTION VISITOR & CONVENTION BUREAU
THE AGENGY IS THE RECIPIENT OF TWO 2015 HSMAI ADRIAN AWARDS
Edwards, Colorado – May 12, 2016 – Thriving on its ability to produce creative campaigns that yield strong relationships, Edwards, CO-based marketing and advertising firm Hill Aevium recently received recognition from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International organization (HSMAI).
Selected from a field of more than 1,300 entries, Hill Aevium was named a 2015 Silver Adrian Award winner in the Direct Mail category for its successful work on the “Grand Junction – Spice Up Your Next Meeting” campaign. Account Executive Jill Coyle says the goal of the campaign was to invite Colorado meeting planners to an event showcasing the many amenities and activities offered in Grand Junction, “We exceeded our goal of a 10% response rate achieving 13.92% in responses and met our goal of over 50 attendees, achieving 84 attendees at the two events.”
HSMAI also presented the agency with a Bronze Adrian Award for its repositioning campaign titled “Dramatically Different” for the Grand Junction Visitor & Convention Bureau. Coyle explains the advertising effort included a complete rebranding for Grand Junction, which has struggled for the past five years with a decline in visitors and group business. “Our campaign focused on how the grandeur of Colorado’s Wine Country is dramatically different from anything else in Colorado. Our efforts resulted in a 7.6% YTD increase in lodging tax collections.”
