  • Vail Board of Realtors Foundation accepting grant applications until December 31

Nonprofit organizations supporting the Eagle County community are encouraged to apply for grant and sponsorship funds from the Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation (VBRF).

Fourteen nonprofits received support from VBRF in early 2022. Areas of support included health and human services, conservation, education, and housing.

The main criteria to apply is to be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and align with VBRF’s mission statement: “To support the community, non-profit organizations and VBR members with need-based financial assistance, education and disaster relief.” Awarded funds must remain in Eagle County and benefit the community. Examples of past grants include funds for a specific program, general support of a nonprofit, and event sponsorships.

The closing date for applications is December 31, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. Grant criteria and the online application can be accessed by visiting the Vail Board of Realtors® Foundation page at vbr.net (www.vbr.net/vail-board-of-realtors-foundation), or by calling 970-766-1028.

The Vail Board of Realtors Foundation was established in 1996 to help promote community efforts for the Vail Board of Realtors. Today its mission is to assist the community and association members with need-based financial assistance, not-for-profit support, education, and disaster relief.
