Eagle County is experiencing an increase in positive COVID-19 cases, specifically the Omicron variant.

So… Omicron is here. What can you do?

  1. Get vaccinated if you haven’t already. Vaccinations are available for anyone 5 and older.
  2. Get boosted. Booster shots are available for people 16 and older and have shown to increase protection against infection with the omicron variant.
  3. Businesses and their staff should proactively prepare for the holidays and busy winter season by ordering at-home COVID-19 tests.
  4. Get your flu shot if you haven’t already. Please contact your healthcare provider or a local pharmacy.
  5. Wear face coverings when in public indoor spaces.
  6. Stay home if you’re sick.
  7. Get tested if you’re experiencing symptoms.
  8. Keep holiday gatherings small this year and if possible, hold them outdoors.
