World-class performances coming to VPAC at Beaver Creek this winter season
Beaver Creek, Colo., Sept. 20, 2021 — From mid-December through the end of the winter season, the Vilar Performing Arts Center will welcome over 50 world-class performances to its intimate stage in the heart of Beaver Creek Village. The winter lineup has something for everyone – from big-name concerts and Broadway musicals to classical music, dance, family programming, and more – and more shows will be announced later in the year.
“This winter will be jam-packed in the best of ways. The VPAC will bring the magic, thrill and excitement that only live entertainment offers,” said VPAC Executive Director Owen Hutchinson. “This winter’s lineup features a robust schedule – from the return of Broadway and family programming to legendary musicians, holiday shows and more. Year after year, and season after season, we strive to bring people together through the performing arts.”
Schedule highlights include the return of Broadway, with The Choir of Man (Jan. 12) and Madagascar (March 22). Family shows include a magician (Dec. 30); circus (March 4); illusionists (March 7 and March 20); and more. Classical music fans will enjoy performances by Ilya Yakushev (Jan. 10); Maxwell Quartet (Jan. 16); Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center (Jan. 25); and more. Winter concerts at the VPAC include Big & Rich (Dec. 28) – known for “Save A Horse”; Scotty McCreery (Feb. 19); Yamato: Drummers of Japan (Feb. 21); and more. Looking for a laugh? Comedian Jim Gaffigan performs twice on Feb. 16.
