  • First Western Trust’s 2021 PPP Application Portal is Live

Dear current and new clients,

Our paperless, self-serve, application portal is now open, and we are ready to accept applications for the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

We continue to hear that the initial funding is anticipated to last for a few short weeks, but of course no one really knows. We would encourage you to get your application started as soon as you can.

Access Options

We now offer two streamlined paths to submit applications for initial (First Draw) or second (Second Draw) PPP loans:

  • A paperless, self-serve portal, which allows applicants to apply securely online using an intuitive approach which pre-populates business information to simplify the process.
  • A paperless, banker-assisted approach, which pairs applicants with a local, knowledgeable, banker as a guide through the streamlined electronic PPP application process.

We expect a high volume of PPP applications during this round of funding – as a result we recommend our self-serve portal as the most expedited approach for clients and small businesses within our communities.

What to Prepare

Before applying for a (First or Second Draw) PPP loan, it is important to understand and prepare the information you will need to submit your application.

Our PPP resource page contains a current listing of information you will need as you begin your application.

Let’s Get Started Together

Our continued action during this difficult time demonstrates our commitment to our clients and our communities, and underscores a simple truth – that it matters where you bank. We delivered on nearly three times as many PPP loans last year as our average peer bank and we welcome the chance to do that again for qualified small business owners.

If you have PPP referrals that you would like to recommend to First Western, please feel free to forward this communication, or simply let us know so we can connect with them.

Should you have any questions regarding PPP or our approach to the upcoming PPP process, please contact us at 303-634-2737 or email us at 2021PPPLoans@myfw.com for additional details. You can also check our PPP resource page as we will work to keep that up to date with any PPP news as we know it.

Sincerely,

Scott C. Wylie
