VAIL, Colo.—Oct. 19, 2020—It’s been an unprecedented year. The COVID-19 pandemic has changed every aspect of life in the Vail Valley but it has also demonstrated the strength and resilience of the residents and businesses alike. We don’t know what the future holds but we can certainly use the lessons learned to help navigate the upcoming months and years.

On Thursday, Oct. 22 at 9 a.m., Vail Symposium and Vail Valley Partnership are presenting “The State of the Valley,” a virtual panel discussion via Zoom that will explore the latest hot issues in Eagle County including health care, education, government issues and the upcoming ski season.

“In this collaboration, the VVP and the Vail Symposium offer the public an opportunity to hear from the leaders of several of the most influential organizations in our community,” said Vail Symposium program manager Claire Noble. “The four organizations these leaders represent touch the lives of every resident in our valley. In addition to hearing directly from these leaders, program attendees have the opportunity to ask questions from the person at the top.”

It’s a unique opportunity to not only hear about plans for moving forward, but also address questions to those who make the decisions that impact each and every resident.

“We look forward to discussing community and organizational successes and challenges with this panel of community leaders as well as looking ahead at the opportunities that exist heading into 2021,” said Chris Romer, president and CEO of the Vail Valley Partnership. “Each panelist brings a unique and varied perspective to the state of our valley and together will give attendees a look at the upcoming season.”
