In 2017, Kofi Baker, the son of Cream’s co-founder Ginger Baker, came together with Will Johns, Eric Clapton’s nephew, and master musicians Sean McNabb and Chris Shutters to celebrate Cream’s 50th anniversary. The group played a handful of concerts in Australia and New Zealand, which were so well received the band hasn’t stopped. This year, the band is on a 40-date Disraeli Gears North American Tour, performing shows throughout the United States and Canada. Some of Cream’s best-loved songs are on the 1967 record — widely considered Cream’s crowning achievement — including “Sunshine of Your Love,” “SWLABR,” and “Strange Brew.”

After performing the album in its entirety, the audience will be treated to classic Clapton hits like “Cocaine,” “Layla,” “Crossroads” and “Wonderful Tonight” along with other Cream hits and rarities for which fans have clamored. Personal stories along with rare photographs and video footage are interwoven into the concert, making for a memorable evening. With the recent passing of Ginger Baker, The Music of Cream looks forward to sharing Cream’s incomparable music with fans, new and old, to keep the trio’s legacy alive.
