VBR Welcome Bag

New homeowners in Eagle County will receive a welcome gift provided by the Vail Board of Realtors and its members. VBR has launched the “Welcome Home Bag” program as a benefit to both its members and homeowners.  Cooler bags filled with items that can be used for activities in the community are given to new homeowners when they purchase a property in the valley.  Each bag includes a stadium blanket, cutting board, set of wine tumblers, and a reusable shopping tote.

“This program is an excellent way for the VBR to welcome new homeowners to the community,” said Vail Board of Realtors Chair Laura Sellards. “Items were chosen for their usefulness. The tote bags are included because much of our Valley is plastic-free. I’m excited to go to a Hot Summer Nights and see these items in the community.”

The VBR partnered with its Affiliate members to provide the gift items. Sponsors include a mix of businesses; Closet Factory, Fireside Properties, FirstBank, Stewart Title, TurnKey Vacation Rentals, Title Company of the Rockies, and Walls + Floors/ The Paint Bucket.

In addition to the gifts, each bag also features a handout with useful information highlighting programs and services the VBR offers and helpful community information. Homeowners are encouraged to visit vbr.net to find resources on public and private schools in the community, signing up for Eagle County Alerts, and more.

“This is an opportunity for our members to help guide new homeowners and to provide resources that can help people get acquainted with the community,” said Sellards. “It also is a way to highlight that Realtors are part of an organization that works to supports the community.”

“I’m so thrilled to be part of launching this program because the Vail Valley is an extraordinary place to live,” said Erica Kirk, Association Executive of the Vail Board of Realtors. “Buying a home is a special part of someone’s lives, and we now get to be part of this.”
