A night with country music’s rising star ~ Grammy-nominated musician Brent Cobb wraps up the Vilar Performing Art Center’s 2019 Underground Sound series Nov. 11

Southern singer-songwriter Brent Cobb brings his “Sucker for a Good Time Tour” to the Vilar Performing Arts Center stage to close out the Fall 2019 VPAC Underground Sound Series.

The Underground Sound series finishes up with a show by Brent Cobb on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, at 7:30 p.m. The show is included in The Underground Sound Pass or single tickets are $38. Individual tickets are available now at the VPAC box office (970-845-8497; www.vilarpac.org). The VPAC is located under the ice rink in Beaver Creek Village (68 Avondale Lane, Beaver Creek, Colorado).

Georgia-born folk-country singer Brent Cobb received a Grammy nomination in 2018 for his second record, “Shine On Rainy Day.” The album peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. He’s touring now in celebration of his critically-acclaimed record “Providence Canyon.”

“The record has the goods from the excellent opening title track on down. Cobb’s got the perfect voice to suit his songs which are topped off with just enough country-rock and a dose of pedal steel to form one of the best country albums of the year,” according to JamBase

Behind the scenes, Cobb has also written several songs for some of the biggest names in country music, including Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Kenney Chesney and Little Big Town. Between headlining dates of his own tour, Cobb continues his extensive run as part of “Chris Stapleton’s All-American Road Show.”

Last year, Cobb performed “Ain’t A Road Too Long” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, plus “High In The Country” as a web exclusive — both from his new record. The album and tour follow a breakthrough few years for Cobb, who was nominated for Best Americana Album at the 60th Grammy Awards for his major label debut, “Shine On Rainy Day.” Since the album’s release, Cobb was also nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year at the 2017 Americana Honors & Awards and made his television debut on Conan.

See Brent Cobb, a stellar artist on the verge, when he performs at the Vilar Performing Art Center on Nov. 11.
