Looking for a first chance at qualified applicants? My Partner Career Network is a trailing spouse program run by Vail Valley Partnership. Here’s how it works:
When one partner secures a job in the valley it can be tough for the “trailing partner” to find a fulfilling position. They are encouraged to fill out a short form on our website and an interview with VVP. We then send out their resume with our thoughts to a dedicated list of HR professionals around the valley. If the applicant has job experience that matches one of these businesses they are encouraged to do an initial interview with the applicant, even if they don’t have a position available at that time.
This program is running at a 90% success rate in finding meaningful positions for those who apply! We feel this is important in retaining top notch talent despite the struggles that come with relocating to this place.
