Forty years of leadership was represented at the Vail Board of Realtors’ Installation Celebration hosted at The Sebastian. VBR, the Vail Multi-list Service (VMLS), and the Vail Board of Realtors’ Foundation installed new officers and directors.
The evening included recognizing past presidents, the 2018 leadership team, and the swearing in of new officers and directors. The organization marked its 40th anniversary with a video presentation highlighting its founding in 1978. Also honored were REALTOR® of the Year, Gary Pesso of Engel & Völkers and Affiliate of the Year, Katie Kuchler of Land Title Guarantee Company.
“It is the goal of the VBR is to continually seek out the latest technology and relevant education for our members so they may provide the highest level of service to the communities where we work and live,” said Crissy Rumford, Vail Board of Realtors Chair. “My year as the 2018 Chair of the VBR has flown by! We conquered Leadership challenges and had huge wins as a board and membership.”
The 2019 VBR Directors are Betsy Laughlin, Chair of the Board; Laura Sellards, Chair Elect; Crissy Rumford, Past Chair; Kevin Kuebert, VMLS Director; Dan Fitchett, Doug Landin, Scott Marino, Dawn Mullin, Michelle Rampelt, and Mike Seguin as Board of Directors, and Kira Taylor as Affiliate Liaison. The 2019 VMLS Directors are Kevin Kuebert, Alex Griffin as Chair Elect; and Valerie Valene, Chad Cremonese and Gina Dizon. The VBR Foundation Board will be lead by Julie Thurston, Chair, and directors Dan Fitchett, Cynthia Kruse, Corey Lamothe, Mike Seguin, Cynthia Thrall and Bev Trout.

It gives me great pride to serve another year as the Chair of the Vail MLS. Our members will greatly benefit from the new technology that has been presented to them to enhance their professionalism and image within our community.”
