This year, there are Summer Reading Programs (SRP) for Kids, Teens and Adults. Sign up for any of the Summer Reading Programs through Beanstack here.

The 3 levels of Summer Reading (Kids, Teens and Adults) all have different schedules and events. Please read below for information specific to each level. SRPs are fun and social! Keep your brain active this summer with SRP activities!

Adult Summer Reading Program (ASRP) starts Sun., June 12 (and runs through Tue., Aug. 1). This year’s SRP theme is: “Libraries Rock.” As in past years, Adult SRP consists of a coupon book containing potential activities. Participants can pick up coupon books at the library Service Desk. Although this is a self directed program, participants need to register (see link below). Participants will be able to deposit coupons as activities are completed. Coupons will be drawn at the closing party on Fri., Aug. 10 in order to award prizes.

Kid’s Summer Reading Program (KSRP) starts Tue., June 12 (and runs through Tue., Aug. 7). Kids entering grades 1 – 5 are all encouraged to join SRP.  SRP will meet in the library’s Community Room from 2 – 3:30pm. This year’s SRP theme is: “Libraries Rock.” Please call Cricket at 970-479-2179 if you have questions.

Teen Summer Reading  will meet once a month on Mondays.  Log your reading hours, attend any and all of our three Monday afternoon programs and take advantage of volunteer opportunities to earn gift cards. Instead of using the raffle format, everyone has an chance to earn prizes by participating, reading and volunteering this summer.
