  • Eagle Awarded $25,000 Grant Match from Colorado Tourism Office

The town of Eagle received a $25,000 grant match from The Colorado Tourism Office to increase and reach new audiences, marketing the town’s outdoor recreation opportunities in new and innovative ways.

The funds will center on paid media and the leading technology available in marketing in hopes of building a custom audience. Specifically, geofencing – targeting mountain biking trailheads, whitewater parks, and other recreational areas in key national markets to ensure that we are getting our message to likeminded recreation users. Building this custom audience allows Eagle to be efficient with marketing dollars, sending targeted messages to a qualified audience. In this case it will highlight Eagle’s outdoor recreation options and get recreationalists to plan a trip or stop as they are traveling in the region.

“Eagle has successfully planned and implemented initiatives that drive the town’s outdoor recreation economy, particularly with the in-town trail system and the new Eagle River Park. Our focus with the CTO grant match is to keep on increasing our draw as a prime destination for mountain bikers, paddlers, hikers, fisherman and all other outdoor recreation user groups,” states Town of Eagle Marketing and Events Manager, Jeremy Gross.
