Avon, CO – The Town of Avon is seeking a business to lease the former Fire Station #7 for use as worker housing. The station, located at 351 Benchmark Road, has been utilized for the past fifteen (15) plus years by the Eagle River Fire Protection District as an active fire response station, with residential dormitory housing. The building is being studied for repurposing into another long-term use. During the study, design and funding period, the objective of the Avon Town Council is to have the building utilized for worker housing rather than remain vacant.
The space can accommodate up to twelve (12) individuals in eight (8) individual bedrooms, and four (4) bathrooms. Initial lease will be from December 15, 2017 to September 15, 2018.
