The Colorado Tourism Office Destination Development PR team is working on winter season story pitching and needs your news highlights from across the state’s rural destinations.
Please send news highlights of traveler and visitor attractions for the coming winter season. This can include (but not limited to):
- Lodging news including new openings, unique guest packages, winter ranch experiences
- Culinary/ craft beverage news including visitor experiences, new openings
- Heritage tourism/ Native Voice attractions and winter experiences
- Winter Agritourism programs, events, experiences
- Rural destination winter season events, festivals
- Outdoor recreation offerings, especially cycling, including events and experiences
- Winter wildlife experiences including viewing programs, hunting etc.
- Women-specific programs and packages (such as women’s hunting programs, rural wellness retreats)
- Cultural and Creative District events and experiences
- Alternatives to the big resorts: rural destinations with packages/ attractions that make great alternatives to the major ski towns.
Please reply with a 150-200 word description as well as a website link to pages with information is preferred. When submitting information, include all detail in the body of the e-mail.
Packages will only be considered if they include: Name of package, dates of availability, brief description, price, percentage discount (if applicable) and contact information for bookings.
