(AVON, Colorado – February 6, 2017) – The 14th Annual Success Awards recognizes businesses that have excelled over the past year and acknowledges their hard work and dedication as the best in the Vail Valley. These businesses and individuals play a significant role in driving the Vail Valley’s business community and economic growth.
“Vail Valley Partnership is thrilled to help celebrate the local business community, including the businesses, nonprofits, and individuals who make the valley a great place to live, work, and play. We encourage everyone to nominate your favorite organization to help us spotlight the great things happening in our community,” said Chris Romer, President & CEO, Vail Valley Partnership.
Nominations are now open. Please complete the form at the link below to nominate your colleagues. All nominees must be a Vail Valley Partnership member. Nominations will close on February 17, 2017. Winners are chosen by the Selection Committee comprised of last year’s winners and will be announced on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the Awards Luncheon.

The finalists are selected by a committee comprised of last year’s Success Award winners: Amy Cassidy, Antlers at Vail, Kristen Bertuglia, MindSprings Health, Resort Books, The Gallegos Corporation, Vail Valley Charitable Fund, Vail Valley Jet Center, Walking Mountains Science Center, West Vail Liquor Mart
After reviewing all submitted applications, the Selection Committee will choose the top three finalists for each category:
- Business of the Year
- Small Business of the Year
- Nonprofit of the Year
- Small Nonprofit of the Year
- Best Place to Work
- Community Impact Award
- Tourism Professional of the Year
- Young Professional of the Year
- Actively Green Award
- Healthy Workplace Award
In addition to the 10 categories mentioned above, a Vail Valley Partnership Chairman’s Award and Member of the Year Award will also be presented.
The Success Awards will also recognize businesses who achieved Vail Valley Partnership and Customer Impact’s Platinum Service Award for receiving exceptional ratings for their customer service, as well as VVP business members who received a certificate for becoming an “Actively Green” business through the Walking Mountains Science Center.
