Vail Valley Partnership (VVP), the region’s chamber of commerce, is partnering with local businesses throughout the valley who recognize that affordable workforce housing is an important community issue to address, and who support Ballot Issue 1A, to host a variety of “Housing Happy Hours”. All events are free and open to the public.
Mike Brumbaugh, Chair of Vail Valley Partnership’s Board of Governors said, “the Board of Governors of VVP recognizes that affordable workforce housing is the top issue facing the business community in Eagle County, and we offer our sincere thanks to the businesses hosting these programs”.
The Housing Happy Hour schedule is as follows:
Friday, September 30, 5:30pm-7pm: Crazy Mountain Brewing Company (Edwards) – free beer for 1A supporters
Tuesday, October 4, 7:30am-9am: Loaded Joe’s (Avon) – free coffee and 40% off food for 1A supporters
Wednesday, October 5, 5:30pm: Minturn Saloon (Minturn) – free beer for the first 30 plus Happy Hour Pricing – $2 Coors Light, Amstel Light, Heineiken / $4 craft beer pints / $4 house margs / $2.75 tacos / $12 specials for 1A supporters
Wednesday, October 12, 5:30pm: Root & Flower (Vail) – free beer or wine for first 20 people. $5 beer/wine and $8 cocktails (pre-selected options) all day on October 12th for 1A supporters
Wednesday, October 19, 7:30am-8:30am: Color Coffee Roasters (Eagle) – free coffee for 1A supporters plus TBD special offers
Thursday, October 20, 8am-9am: The Bookworm (Edwards) – free coffee and 20% off breakfast for 1A supporters
Wednesday, October 26, 5:30pm: Bonfire Brewery (Eagle) – free beer for first 35 1A supporters, and $3 beers until 7pm for 1A supporters
Wednesday, November 2, 5:30pm-6:30pm: Boxcar (Avon) – Free drinks for first 20 1A supporters, and discounted happy hour drinks and appetizers until 6:30pm.
