This time of year is usually when parents are searching for good ideas for summer camps and summer activities for their kids.
Look no further than the Eagle River Youth Coalition’s 2016 Family Jam and Summer Plan taking place on Saturday, May 7th from 11 am – 2 pm at the Brush Creek Pavilion in Eagle. This event is presented by Slifer Smith & Frampton and US Bank. Youth activity organizers will be organized by booth and ready to register kids for their summer offerings. In addition, the event provides live musical entertainment by local youth, a Bouncy House, instrument petting zoo, free ice cream from Marble Slab and many fun activities. In addition, the Girl Scouts and Buddy Mentors will be leading a special Mother’s Day craft and Colorado Skateboards will set up a mini-skate park for kids to try out, remember to bring your helmet along.
“This is the fourth year we have organized this free, family event,” said Mikayla Curtis, Manager of Strategic Impact at the Eagle River Youth Coalition. “We are always looking for ways to engage with families and youth in our community, and Family Jam and Summer Plan is one of the highlights of our year,” continued Curtis. “Come to learn about programs and services and get signed up on the spot to have a summer full of activities.”
