Vail Valley Partnership (VVP), your community development organization, announces the beginning of a new industry listening program in 2016. The program is intended to provide an open forum for key partners to share feedback on the state of their industries.
The program, titled “12@12”, will be an invitation only luncheon hosting 12 executives within a key industry sector. There will be five 12@12 programs in 2016 featuring some of the valley’s central industries: Construction & Development, Entrepreneurship, Banking & Finance, Human Resources, and Retail. Those invited to participate will have the opportunity to discuss industry trends, goals, and issues they anticipate to arise in the future. The 12@12 program is designed to provide businesses with tools and resources to help them maximize their long-term success, not just within the valley, but also within the industry as a whole.
The intention of the program is to continue the discussion and provide resources for the issues that are raised. President Chris Romer will attend each 12@12 event to offer the services of the Vail Valley Partnership in order to tackle any issues that surface during the discussion. VVP has the unique opportunity to advocate for change at a regional and state level on those issues that challenge or inhibit the growth of business in the valley. Additionally, with over 860 member businesses, the VVP can foster partnerships between industries and bridge gaps to encourage growth. Collaboration between businesses and regional partners has long been a focus of the VVP, and the 12@12 program will ensure a more targeted approach.
The program is also an engaging way Vail Valley Partnership can identify specific member needs and develop future programs in accordance with supporting businesses in the most beneficial ways possible. Vail Valley Partnership is constantly striving to add value to member businesses, and they look forward to developing new programs based on industry and member feedback, as well as continuing to improve and enhance those already in place, to ensure they are promoting growth for the community.
