Community Resource Center Graduates 25th Class of its Nonprofit Leadership & Management Program

Amy Ben-Horin, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Ute Springs Experiential Learning Center, is a recent graduate of Community Resource Center’s Nonprofit Leadership & Management Program.

Along with 25 other new and emerging nonprofit leaders from across Colorado, Amy completed the 9- month program and expanded her leadership capabilities as well as discovered new management techniques. Amy also cultivated meaningful professional relationships by engaging with her classmates at bi-monthly professional development sessions and at the 3-day retreat to Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center. The connections Amy and her cohort made during the 9-month program will certainly be leveraged in the future:

“The skills, knowledge and connections I have gained through the CRC Leadership course have helped align our newer nonprofit with best practices in the field. And with the help and guidance of the CRC staff along with my cohort of Executive Directors, I know that Ute Springs Experiential Learning Center is on the path to accomplish great things with integrity!”

As a graduate of the program, Amy joins a network of over 700 nonprofit professionals who have participated over the past 25 years. These individuals and their experiences offer invaluable resources to participants. Graduates of the program provide each other with continuing opportunities for professional development and networking to further their development as leaders.
