Vail Valley Partnership Announces NEXT Vail Valley, an Emerging Professionals Program
NEXT Vail Valley is a new program of the Vail Valley Partnership designed to support and advance emerging professionals in our community. This program aims to serve professionals with a ‘mentee’ mindset who seek to learn from and be inspired by established community leaders in the valley while connecting with other emerging professionals.
NEXT Vail Valley is a six-month program that will run from January – June 2016. The program will consist of 12 emerging professionals that will meet, converse and engage with a community leader in a group setting. Each month, NEXT participants will meet with a different community leader for two hours to discuss a topic of the group’s choosing.
“We are excited to facilitate a connection between the valley’s emerging and next generation of leaders with those who have helped build, and continue to influence, the community,” says Chris Romer, President & CEO of the Vail Valley Partnership. Romer continues, “The program will provide leadership development opportunities for the valley’s emerging professionals and provide an opportunity for our established leaders to share their wealth of institutional knowledge with the ‘next’ generation”.
