Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park Hosts its Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sun., April 5

Kids can hunt for 3,000 eggs hidden around the Adventure Park, including six special eggs with two Annual Thrill Passes tucked inside.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colo. (Mar. 25, 2015) — Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park will host a mountain-top Easter Egg Hunt in Glenwood Springs, Colo., at 1 p.m. Sun., April 5. The Easter Bunny is going to hide 3,000 eggs around the park for kids to find. The hunt will be divided into three age groups, with two special eggs with two Annual Thrill Passes tucked inside for each group.

This popular annual event always attracts a lot of families; guests should arrive at the base of the Iron Mountain Tramway at least an hour early to make sure they get to the top in time for the hunt. To avoid the rush, guests may come up in the morning and have lunch or try out some of the park’s attractions. The Adventure Park will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Easter Bunny will be hippity-hopping around the park for photos from 1 to 3 p.m.

The tram ride and park admission cost $13 for adults; $8 for kids ages 3 to 12; and are free for children younger than 3. Annual Thrill Pass and Annual Tram Pass holders ride the tram for free. The Lookout Grille will be open throughout the day, with kids’ meals for just $6.50.

The Funday Pass will also be available for $39 per adult and $34 per child; it includes a round-trip tram ride and park admission, cave tours and unlimited access to the 4D Motion Theater, the Alpine Coaster, the Soaring Eagle Zip Ride and the Laser Tag Arena.
