BEAVER CREEK, CO: The Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC) invites bluegrass, jazz, country and all music enthusiasts to see Mike Marshall and Edgar Meyer on Saturday, March 7 at 7:30 PM. Mike Marshall and Edgar Meyer have been playing music together for twenty years. Over these past two decades, they have developed a fully realized concept of the mandolin/bass duo. Mike and Edgar present a repertoire that spans the globe; from Bach duets to Brazilian choros, and from funky original pieces to their own twisted fiddle tunes. Mike Marshall is one of the world’s most accomplished and versatile string instrumentalists today. A master on mandolin, guitar, mandocello and violin, he has created some of the most adventurous instrumental music for over 35 years.
