The Vilar Performing Arts Center (VPAC) in Beaver Creek, Colorado, is pleased to announce that $10 from every ticket sold to the August 11, 2014 concert by country singer Trace Adkins will be donated to the Vail Veterans Program (VVP). The announcement comes after last summer’s VVP benefit with country duo Montgomery Gentry.

VPAC Executive Director Kris Sabel states, “This is a wonderful opportunity to expand awareness for the Vail Veterans Program and to celebrate our veterans. The Vail Veterans Program is a vital organization for our community as they work with injured military and their families. We’re so pleased to play a small part in their important work. Trace Adkins has been a tremendous supporter of our veterans nationally through the Wounded Warrior Project and has performed on several USO tours, and we are thrilled that Trace agreed to partner with us in this endeavor.”

VVP Executive Director Cheryl Jensen reflects, “The VPAC’s support through this partnership with Mr. Adkins is extremely thoughtful and appreciated. It helps make a special night of music by a chart-topping country artist even more special. It’s yet another terrific example of how the VPAC continues to be an important community partner for not only our Vail Veterans Program but countless others in the Valley.”

Tickets to the Trace Adkins concert are $95 and $125 and are on sale now at the VPAC Box Office (970.845.8457/www.vilarpac.org). The VPAC is located under the ice rink in Beaver Creek Village (68 Avondale Lane, Beaver Creek, Colorado).
