Vail Valley Partnership is ramping up for summer with lots of great events for the month of June. Check out what we have going on next month:
If you’re a new member or just need a refresher on your benefits, then we encourage you to join us for Partner 101 on Wednesday, June 4 from 9-10 am at the VVP offices in Traer Creek. Our staff will explain your membership benefits and let you know how to get more involved.
Learn more about using social media for promotion by attending “Shameless Marketing: Leveraging Social Media & Internet Marketing to Promote Events”, hosted by Jodi Jahrling of Mobloggy on Tuesday, June 10 from 2-4 pm at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort. Attendees will hear about event marketing strategies for Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+ and Twitter. In addition, image and video driven applications like Pinterest, Instagram, and YouTube will be explored as additional avenues to get the word out about events. Jodi will discuss how electronic newsletters and blogging can help create trust, build a brand, and solidify “experts in the field” personas. This event is free for nonprofits and the first 50 attendees, with a $10 cost for all additional RSVPs. Please contact Jennifer Weintraub at jweintraub@visitvailvalley.com to reserve your spot.
Nova Guides will once again host Vail Valley Partnership members for a free Hospitality Day on Monday, June 16 at their Camp Hale location. They will be offering ATV, RZR and jeep tours every hour, along with paint balling and trout lake fly fishing between 9 am-1 pm. Enjoy lunch at McAllister’s Grill and have a great time with your team enjoying the different activities and tours that Nova Guides offers so you have a better understanding of the guest’s experience. RSVP’s are required to sales@novaguides.com or 719-486-2656.
Join us for our Monthly After-Hours Business Mixer at FirstBank in Vail from 5:30-7:30 pm on Wednesday, June 18. Please note the changed time due to banking hours.
We’ll wrap up a month of events with a Breakfast Scrambler hosted by Nichols Interactive at the EagleVail Golf Clubhouse on Tuesday, June 24 from 8-9:30 am. Breakfast Scramblers provide more structured networking opportunities in a smaller setting. Please RSVP to Jennifer Weintraub at jweintraub@visitvailvalley.com.
