  • VVP Releases RFQs to Produce Eagle County Economic Development Website, Strategic Branding

Vail Valley Partnership (VVP) is seeking responses from qualified firms to assist Vail Valley Partnership in the development and implementation of an Eagle County Economic Development website and Eagle County business brand. All applications are due by Monday, April 21 at 3 pm MST.

The future Eagle County economic development website will be business-focused with the goal of attracting and supporting prospective businesses, relocating or new, as well as provide economic data and tools and resources to existing businesses in Eagle County. The website will embrace the diversity and individuality of each municipality, all incorporated under one regional business development brand.

In addition to the website, Vail Valley Partnership is looking for a firm to lead the strategic business branding effort for Eagle County, from development to implementation. The regional business brand will help to promote Eagle County as a viable place to build successful business and career opportunities. The regional business brand will demonstrate collaboration of local towns – from Vail to Gypsum – to the highest level by promoting our county’s collective strengths, not just individual. The brand will be disseminated through a variety of efforts including; video promotion, advertising, website presence, and more.

“These branding and web development efforts are major elements in the implementation of the 2013 Eagle County Economic Development Plan, which aims to support a vibrant local business community and expand economic opportunity. The Economic Development Leadership Council (EDLC) dedicated hundreds of hours of volunteer time to create this plan and I promised them early on that their input would be put to work, not sit on a shelf. This is one step towards keeping that promise,” said Jeremy Rietmann, business development director at Vail Valley Partnership.

The EDLC was a volunteer committee organized in 2013 by Vail Valley Partnership. This group served as a private industry voice on economic development priorities in Eagle County. Their invaluable input helped formed the basis of many of the recommendations included in the 2014 Eagle County Economic Development Plan. The website and regional business brand are just two components of many that will be executed this year in the greater goal of economic development led by Vail Valley Partnership.
