Starting Hearts 2nd annual “All You Need is Heart” fundraising event educates guests on the topic of heart-health and kicks off a community-wide initiative to install Automated External Defibrillators (“AED”) throughout Eagle County. The event starts with a heart-health expo & breakfast from 7:00am to 9:00am. Medical experts will offer complimentary Body Mass Index tests, Electrocardiograms, Carotid Artery & Vein Ultrasounds, Nutrition Consultations and more. Immediately following the expo, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., local community members will share first-hand experiences with sudden cardiac arrest and nationally acclaimed cardiovascular experts who will present on a variety of trending topics. The symposium culminates at 10:30am with a live AED Adoption Auction to support the placement of an estimated 250 publically accessible defibrillators in Eagle County. The event will be held at Ford Hall, Park Hyatt at Beaver Creek on February 14, from 7:00am to 11:00am.
