The University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work (GSSW) is now accepting applications from Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) graduates for the one-year advanced standing Western Colorado Master of Social Work (MSW) degree program, to be offered in Glenwood Springs beginning in July 2014. This opportunity is for students that have already obtained a BSW and are interested in obtaining a MSW.
Prospective students with a baccalaureate degree in an academic discipline other than social work may apply in October 2014 for the two-year Western Colorado MSW program that will begin in September 2015.
The Western Colorado MSW Program is offered at a reduced tuition rate, and a Friday evening and Saturday class schedule has been arranged to accommodate the needs of working professionals.
GSSW will host two information sessions about the Western Colorado program during March. The first session will be a free webinar that can be accessed online on Monday, March 3,from noon to 1:00 p.m. MST. To register, please e-mail GSSW at GSSW.WestCO@du.edu. Prospective students may also attend an information session to be held at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs on Friday, March 14, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. The session will take place at the CMC Glenwood Center, 1402 Blake Ave., Glenwood Springs, 81601.
