Vail Jazz Design Contest

Vail Jazz is looking for a talented young designer to head up the design for its 20th Anniversary Season.

Vail Jazz needs a look that will stun the masses as we welcome over 20,000 spectators to the Town of Vail for the annual Vail Jazz Festival. The winning designer will work closely with the team at Vail Jazz to turn their winning look into a variety of essential marketing pieces: posters, programs, t-shirts, banners, postcards, advertisements. These materials will be seen by millions of visitors in the Vail Valley from January to September of 2014.

Contestants are provided with guidelines for subject matter, specs and submission. See this information at www.vailjazz.org/media-kit. In the case that no single entry meets the expectations, specifications, or quality of work that Vail Jazz has stipulated, a winner may not be chosen.

Although Vail Jazz designs have traditionally been vector artwork, all mediums including original works of art and photography will be accepted. Multiple entries are allowed. The chosen designer must be able to meet additional deadlines through early summer. The deadline for submission is December 5, 2013 @ 8:00am.
