Today, Vail Valley Partnership (VVP) announced that in partnership with the 2015 World Championships Organizing Committee, the two organizations will offer Eagle County businesses the opportunity to participate in the Road to 2015 World Championships Vail-Beaver Creek Cooperative Buy-In.
This initiative provides local businesses and organizations a chance to advertise during the 2013 men and women’s World Cup races, as well as the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships. The 2015 Organizing Committee is charged with coordinating all aspects of the two-week Championships.
The buy-in provides local businesses and organizations preferred member pricing during events that will garner unequivocal media attention on a global scale – an opportunity that might not be possible for members without the cooperative element. Participating members will be able to choose from a number of different sponsorship opportunities, including volume sponsorship during this year’s early season World Cup men’s and women’s races, as well as the 2015 Championships.
“The Partnership is thrilled to collaborate and join forces with the 2015 Organizing Committee to offer special World Cup weekend and 2015 World Alpine Ski Championship sponsorship opportunities to our members,” said Chris Romer, president and CEO of Vail Valley Partnership.
The Partnership and the 2015 Organizing Committee will host a complimentary social on Tuesday, September 10, at Bol from 5:30-7:30 p.m. to provide an update and answer questions on sponsorship opportunities available. The social will include food and drinks and is open to any and all interested businesses.
“We wanted to host a casual, fun, social gathering with our partner VVP, as a way to say thank you to all the community businesses that support the 2015 World Championships,” said Mike Imhof, Senior Vice President of Sales and Operations for the Vail Valley Foundation and Director of the 2015 World Championships. “We want to get to know new community partners and share some exciting updates and opportunities for both the 2013 ladies and men’s World Cup races and the 2015 Championships.”
