As the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera gains notoriety within the lodging industry, so does its sales team with the recent hire of Justin Bird as Director of Sales & Marketing. Justin will be based in Denver and is responsible for sales development.
“Justin brings a wealth of experience and talent to our Lodge sales team, he is truly a perfect fit,” says Aaron Coburn, General Manager. “He has incredible experience within the hospitality industry, but even more than that, he has an innate sense for what our unique property is all about.” Before joining the Cordillera Lodge team, Justin was the Corporate Director of Sales & Strategy for MetWest Terra Hospitality, a hotel management company located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Justin’s sales leadership role at MetWest Terra Hospitality spanned five years and highlights include the opening of the highly acclaimed and award-winning mountain resort, Hotel Terra Jackson Hole and the management acquisition of Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa, both AAA Four Diamond Award recipients.
Throughout Justin’s career he has worked on both the international and national sales level for such prestigious resorts as the Fess Parker Doubletree Resort in Santa Barbara, Four Seasons Resort Whistler B.C., Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North, Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines, and the Pointe Resorts in Phoenix, Arizona. “I am a passionate sales professional” says Justin, “with a proven track record and I look forward to bringing that passion to the great team already in place at the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera.” He continues, “The property is spectacular and such a special place, I hope to let more people know about what a hidden gem Cordillera really is.”
