The Brand Ambassador

Branding expert, Clare J. Hefferren, president of Callosum, will stir the pot during Wednesday’s lunch hour as she speaks about the importance of personal branding and how to develop (and keep) a stellar reputation. Hosted by HSMAI Vail Valley Chapter at the Lodge at Vail, Hefferren addresses to topic “How Do You Show Up? The Brand Ambassador” – an educational lunch session overviewing your personal brand and how to make the best impression.

“Personal branding is an adult word for reputation – comprised of leadership skills, body language, wardrobe/grooming, speaking skill and etiquette. Regardless of your expertise, do people want more of you after an initial 5 minute greeting? It’s similar to juggling balls – drop one and lose all credibility,” says Hefferren.

Attendees will walk away with an understanding of the significance of creating a personal brand; How to personalize your communication style; Top tips to develop professional presence; Use of tentative language; Body language – gender similarities and differences; and how to address appropriately and enhance your credibility.

When: February 27, 2013 11:30 – 1 pm luncheon

Your service, product or resume will get you in the door. Your personal brand, and how you show up, will keep you there. Create a consistent, memorable image that improves your presence and personal confidence. Aligning who you ARE with what you DO creates a magnetic pull of opportunities and lasting impressions. “Who wants to be normal? Normal gets passed over – forgotten easily. Be noticeable, make an impression and build solid business relationships.”

Hefferren believes relationships are the cornerstone to building a business and reaching your professional and personal goals. Each and every time you and your staff come in contact with a person, an opportunity exists to build relationships and loyalty, promote your brand message and strategically expand your network. Capitalizing on these opportunities can occur only when you are prepared. Transforming staff into company brand ambassadors who drive competitive advantage, loyalty, profits and enthusiasm one client interaction at a time will lead to success.

For the individual, master your personal brand by creating a consistent, polished and memorable image which is aligned your values and see your life propel forward
