  • Vail Valley Partnership to Host Inaugural Chamber Roundtable

The Vail Valley Partnership- the Chamber & Tourism Bureau today announced that it will host the inaugural Chamber Roundtable on August 30, 2012 at Manor Vail Lodge from 9-10:30 am. As part of the Vail Valley Merchant Alliance, consisting of local chambers and business associations and coordinated by the Vail Valley Partnership, the event will bring together groups from throughout the Eagle River Valley to discuss what’s happening in the business community.

The roundtable will consist of representatives from participating business organizations, discussing the latest business news or developments in the Eagle River Valley. The event seeks to raise awareness of the community efforts and collaboration between businesses and chamber groups and to facilitate regional discussions.

Each business group and chamber present at the event will be able to provide a regional overview of their community, along with key accomplishments and areas of focus from their individual business perspective. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask additional follow up questions with a Q& A session. The Chamber Roundtable discussion is open to the first 100 attendees free of cost. A small fee will be charged to any attendees after 100 people.

“As regional collaboration and working together as a community becomes increasingly important, the Vail Valley Partnership is happy to bring together various chamber leaders to discuss their municipal-level efforts and to raise awareness of each group’s and town’s efforts to provide service to the business community. We believe this cooperation amongst the chamber and business groups throughout the county lays the groundwork for working together, benefiting our stakeholders throughout the valley,” said Chris Romer, executive director of Vail Valley Partnership.
