Can Do Multiple Sclerosis™, the leading provider of innovative lifestyle empowerment programs for people with multiple sclerosis and their support partners, is pleased to announce the addition of Lauri O’Brien as Director of Programs. She will be coming aboard as an asset that will be utilized for many roles, including program management, program development, Chair of the Programs Committee and as a member of the Can Do MS’ leadership team.

“We are very excited about the addition of Mrs. O’Brien to our team,” said Heidi A. Heltzel, Can Do MS President and CEO, “this is another step towards our goal to increase our program offerings and expand our national presence by bringing in new skill sets and experience.”

Mrs. O’Brien is joining Can Do MS from Colorado Mountain Express where for the past three years she held the role as Sales Manager for the Vail and Beaver Creek markets, performing program management duties for Vail Resorts and additional transportation accounts. Prior to that, Mrs. O’Brien was the Executive Director for First Descents, an organization that offers young adults with cancer free outdoor adventure therapy experiences designed to empower them to climb, paddle and surf beyond their diagnosis, defy their cancer and reclaim their lives. As Executive Director, Mrs. O’Brien oversaw the creation and management of operations and programs to ensure compliance with, and implementation of, goals, objectives, policies, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
