The Alpine Tavern, Vail’s premier mountain modern restaurant, has introduced their new casual dining menu today.
End the summer with casual dining in both the Old Muddy Bar and the Edelweiss Room. Enjoy new décor and table settings with a complete family friendly focus.
The Alpine Tavern now serves personal sized, Margarita or Four Seasons style pizza! Made by Paolo Busi, Executive Chef, who is continuously presenting diners with ever evolving, creative cuisine. Visitors and residents can enjoy daily and weekly specials prepared by Bussi and his staff using only the freshest seasonal ingredients. Try the Alpine Green, a new appetizer, which includes generous portions of creamy edamame with a hint of garlic, served atop summer squash, baked tomatoes, and zucchini. Also, enjoy salads galore, as well as Paolo’s seafood, pasta and other specials. Complete your dining experience with Chef Busi’s homemade Tiramisu.
Scott Kneeland, restaurant manager and sommelier, spent his spring searching for new wines that will make excellent pairings with the flavors of summer at the Alpine Tavern. “Alpine’s wine cellar presents wonderful choices including reasonably priced Napa, Sonoma, Italian, and other international wines perfect for your special celebrations”, Kneeland says.
The unique experience at the Alpine Tavern includes the exceptional service by their international staff. The soaring ceilings define Vail’s premier mountain setting, as well as the roaring fire, dramatic lighting and alpine views. Fine silver, crystal and crockery frames every meal.
