The Vail Jazz Festival, in collaboration with the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival will present the final of three jam sessions immediately following the orchestral performance by the New York Philharmonic on Wednesday, July 25 in the Great Room at Larkspur Restaurant. The performance gets underway at 9 p.m. and is titled Jazz After: The New York Jam.
The Jazz After series debuted in the 2012 season with accolades from performers and audiences alike. The Jazz After jam session will showcase select members of the New York Philharmonic in a casual, jazz club-setting. Admission is free and food and drink will be available, courtesy of Larkspur Restaurant.
About the Vail Jazz Festival:
With 40 performances from June 24 through September 3, the 18th annual Vail Jazz Festival presents headliners such as Byron Stripling, the Jeff Hamilton Trio and the Brubeck Brothers Quartet in a variety of ticketed and free events in intimate indoor and unique outdoor venues throughout Vail.
