  • Decypher Technicians Earn Certifications in Mac Support, Fiber Optics

Decypher Technologies celebrates the success of two of its technicians who recently received certificates in advanced Information Technology training.

Decypher’s bench technician, James White, completed Apple’s training program to become an Apple Certified Mac Technician. He joins Adam Galusha as the second Apple Certified Mac Technician at Decypher Technologies. Apple Certified Technicians are approved to perform work on Apple products and are trained to troubleshoot common Mac issues.

Director Farr Shepherd sees attaining Apple certifications as invaluable. “In today’s tech market, Apple products continue to gain popularity, so it’s important to be able to service them properly and to meet Apple’s high standards,” said Shepherd.

Decypher’s Infrastructure Technician, Ande Grillo, also achieved an important certification. Grillo graduated from The Fiber School in Pennsylvania in April, earning him Master Fiber Optic Technician status. Master Fiber Optic Technicians are certified to perform any level of fiber optic design, splicing, testing and troubleshooting. Grillo is the first of Decypher’s technicians to earn the certification.

“As technology advances fiber optics will continue to support communications demands with increasing bandwidth,” said Shepherd. “This certification will strengthen Decypher’s position as the industry leader in fiber optics in the Aspen and Vail valleys.”

Decypher has eight other technicians with certifications in networking, servers, and surveillance. Learn more online at Decypher Technologies.
