“I would love to be able to help make a change in my own community here in the Vail Valley.  Whether it is one meal at a time or a gathering of large crowds, I am honored to nurture the many families that have come and gone through Vail to other parts of the world.”

Ski and Snowboard Club Vail

Email Me

I was born in a farmhouse in Putney, Vermont and grew up in Arlington and Lexington, Massachusetts. My education was in both The Waldorf School and public high school (both in Lexington). I moved to Colorado to attend University of Colorado, Colorado Springs and graduated with a B.S. in International Business and a minor in German Studies, having spent a year studying at Universtät Regensburg, in Germany.

Professionally I am involved in the ski industry, having worked for vendors, retailers, and competitive ski clubs in the U.S, Germany, and New Zealand. I lived in the Park City/Salt Lake City area while employed by a ski brand and relocated to Frisco to start a business with 3 business partners. I now live in Minturn and lead the Equipment Management Program within Ski & Snowboard Club Vail, with work locations in Minturn and Vail and full time, year round staff of 3. In April 2018 I was elected to serve a 4 year term on Minturn Town Coucil, where I also serve on 3 committees: Minturn Scholarship Fund, Economic Development Action Committee, and Radio Free Minturn 107.9 ex-officio Board Member.

We are all fortunate in our ability to call the greater Eagle River Valley home! It’s always been a goal of mine to live close to the things I love to do, and living here accomplishes that. I am proud to call our mountain community home for the clean air, wonderful weather, and access to outdoor opportunities.I am a skier who likes to go uphill to earn turns in Colorado’s High Country, a sport climber, and a mountain biker.

Jay takes advantage of the mountain lifestyle by skiing, biking, camping, hiking and golfing with his friends, family and clients.

Alpine Bank

Email Me

I first came to the valley in year 2000 and I started to work as a snowboard instructor shortly after. I used to come to teach at Beaver Creek in the winter, and then I would go back to Australia for the northern hemisphere summers. When back in Sydney, Australia, I did contract work and I worked in investment banking, communication and technology sectors. I obtained a Bachelor Degree in Business, Computing and Information Management in Sydney, Australia prior to my travels.

I started working for Alpine Bank in September of 2012. I worked on loans in more of the behind the scenes role until September 2017 when I transitioned into a Lending role with the bank. All of the experience working on the loans has been extremely beneficial.

I love the small town feel this valley offers and I love the lifestyle, with all the outdoor activities and beauty. I find working and living here in a small community, both rewarding and enjoyable since you can really see and feel the difference your actions can make.

The first time she visited Vail, she knew she had found her future home. Trading skyscrapers for mountains, Allie believes Vail measures happiness not in material things, but lifestyle: number of powder days, miles hiked, and friends around the dinner table. She hopes the NEXT program will help her become acclimated with the past, present, and future state of Vail Valley. Allie aspires to become more involved in her local community and contribute to its’ success.

Allie joined All Mountain Technologies as a Marketing Coordinator in June.
