Vail Valley Partnership is hiring a Director of Community Development! This position:
* is part of the VVP management/executive team
* will have extensive community outreach with c-suite/business owners throughout the valley and across industry sector as well as key community stakeholders (Eagle County Schools, Colorado Mountain College, Colorado Workforce Center)
* runs point on our workforce programs including the Career Fair (with Rotary)
* coordinates and lead professional development such as NEXT (https://www.vailvalleypartnership.com/signature-programs/next-vail-valley/) and Power Groups (https://www.vailvalleypartnership.com/vail-valley-power-groups/)
* leads workforce efforts such as job shadowing and Career X (https://www.vailvalleypartnership.com/advocacy/workforce-development/career-x/) and the MyPartner Career Network (http://vailvalleymeansbusiness.com/about/services/mypartner-career-network/) and likely other related workforce programs such as the Workwell Collaborative (https://files.vailvalleypartnership.com/sites/2/2016/10/WorkWell-Collaborative-One-Page-Overview.pdf) and any upcoming programs still in process
* initiates future workforce issues as identified by staff and our board.
* will be engaged with economic development programming (http://VailValleyMeansBusiness.com)
* run point on a Housing Task Force (https://www.vailvalleypartnership.com/advocacy/workforce-housing/) as follow up to ballot issue 1A with public and private partners (in partnership with other community partners)
* work closely with membership team (https://www.vailvalleypartnership.com/join/) and content marketing efforts to “tell the story” of our community, our members, our organization
