Association Executive

Vail Board of REALTORS® ( is seeking an Association Executive with experience in

associations or business management and working with a Board of Directors. This position is responsible

for strategic and operational functions and effectively leading and managing the Association in

achievement of its goals and objectives in accordance with the by-laws and policy governance

established by the Board of Directors. Our Association offers a diversity of job challenges, professional

growth and an opportunity to make a difference in our community.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Past experience with Associations or Business Management.
  • Experience working with a Board of Directors is desired.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage Staff increasing their skills, knowledge, experience. Encourages growth.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to establish positive long lasting relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and meet annual budget targets.
  • Takes initiative and ability to assess one’s own strengths and areas of improvement, and pursue applicable development opportunities.
  • Strategic planning thinker and ability to develop strategies and goals that are in-line with the Vail Board of REALTORS
  • Self-motivated with a passion for our industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to effectively organize resources, establish priorities, and perform multiple tasks.
  • Advanced computer and technology skills including a working knowledge of:

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Power Point

Microsoft Publisher

  • Ability to master our web-based MLS platform
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Ability to excel in a team collaborative environment.
