Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley, founded in 1995, helps hardworking locals achieve the dream of homeownership. We are the only builder of permanently affordable for-sale homes in Eagle County. Future homeowners earn between 35% and 80% of the AMI (that’s $39,000 to $112,00 for a family of four in 2022). These families aren’t given a home: They help build their homes and then buy the home at a zero or low-interest mortgage that is no more than 30% of their gross annual income.
