Alpine Bank is partnering with Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley for a Shred Event, giving people the opportunity to dispose of confidential documents securely. Bring boxes of paperwork to the Habitat ReStore Vail Valley to be securely shredded and recycled.
“We are proud to partner with the ReStore once again at the Shred Event. This is a great community event that allows people to securely recycle their personal documents — I hope people will stick around and check out the new ReStore,” says Chris Rowberry, Alpine Bank president and Habitat Vail Valley board member. “Affordable housing is one of the most difficult challenges we face in our valley, which is why Alpine Bank has been a long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity.”
On Saturday, September 10, Alpine Bank will provide a drive-through Shred Event at the ReStore. Bring up to four boxes of papers and we’ll shred them – for free. Stop by the ReStore, at 250 Lindbergh Drive in Gypsum, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for this free event. Stay in the car as volunteers unload the papers and recycle the boxes.
In conjunction with Shred Day, the ReStore will have a sale of 25% off all donated product, from dining sets to headboards and cabinets. Proceeds from the sales of donated gently used items at the ReStore go to building more homes for hardworking locals.
Shredding services are free thanks to Alpine Bank but donations to Habitat Vail Valley are welcome. All proceeds go to Habitat Vail Valley for home construction efforts.
Alpine Bank is Habitat ReStore Vail Valley’s premier partner. The Habitat ReStore is vital to helping Habitat for Humanity Vail Valley be part of the housing solution in Eagle County. In June, the ReStore opened at its new location in Gypsum, which shows a dramatic growth opportunity, a steady source of income, drawing more shoppers from a larger geographic region.
