  • Feedback Needed in Formation of Eagle Valley Regional Transportation Authority

The Eagle Valley Regional Transportation Authority formation effort is continuing to work on a collaborative, regional approach to improving transit in our communities. The local governments, business, and nonprofit partners working on this effort—including the Vail Valley Partnership—have begun additional outreach to community members to update them on the RTA process and seek more feedback. As a business and community leader, we would like your feedback as well on this proposal.

Please find a summary here of the information that is being sent to households across the proposed RTA service area. More information and a short feedback survey can be found at EagleCountyRTA.org/survey. Please feel free to share this information with your network in the community; the more feedback the better.

The goal of the Eagle Valley RTA is to enhance transit service across the valley. An enhanced transit system will help local residents get to their jobs, schools, medical care, recreation and other community services safely and efficiently. Further investing in our valleywide transit system will support locally owned businesses and visitors that contribute to our region’s economy and tax base. Improved regional transportation will promote the livability, sustainability and economic vitality of Eagle County as our region grows over the next several decades.
