Avon, Colo., June 23, 2022 — One of the largest fundraising events in the Vail Valley is also one of the most entertaining community gatherings of the year when the annual YouthPower365 Stars Variety Show returns to the Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail on Tuesday, July 12, featuring local talent, a chance to mingle with friends over bubbles and dessert, dancing under the stars and a range of ways to support YouthPower365’s mission to inspire, educate and empower youth and families from early childhood to college and career readiness.

Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are still available, as well as individual tickets. Sponsors and underwriters of the event receive access to fine dining experiences before the show on-stage at The Amp and at Larkspur Restaurant, making for a special evening for a special cause.

This year’s Stars Variety Show will feature talent entertaining the audience with a diverse set of skills – from a brother-sister magician duo to aerialists, singers, soccer stars and more. Here’s a look at the Stars Variety Show lineup of performances:

Magic with Aidan & Michaela Bonta

Aidan and Michaela Bonta are a magical brother-sister duo from Eagle, where Aidan will soon be a sixth-grader at Zealous Schools and Michaela will be a fourth-grader at Eagle Valley Elementary School. When they’re not performing magic, both Aidan and Michaela enjoy fencing, reading, caring for their three dogs, two guinea pigs and a rabbit (who never goes in or out of a hat). Learning from the best, Aidan and Michaela would like to give a special thanks to their magic coach, Don Watson. Aidan and Michaela will show the audience that we all have a little magic inside us.

Dance with Celebrate the Beat Eagle County

YouthPower365’s Celebrate the Beat Eagle County program taps into the arts to help youth reach their full potential. The movement and mindfulness dramatically improves overall well-being and academic performance for young people. The Celebration Team will perform at the Stars Variety Show with dancers from local schools including Red Sandstone, Homestake Peak, Avon Elementary, Berry Creek Middle and Red Hill Elementary. Weeks of practice and collaboration will come to fruition on The Amp stage when the Celebration Team shows off their new routine at the Stars Variety Show.

Singing with Emma Cerovich

Vail Valley native Emma Cerovich has the voice of an angel, and a bright and bubbly personality to go along with it. The multi-genre vocalist and singer-songwriter has been heavily involved in the local dance, music and theater community growing up. Emma, a Vail Christian High School graduate, has performed with the National Association of Teachers for Singing and the Brancaleoni Music Festival and is looking forward to hitting all of the right notes in front of the Stars Variety Show audience.

Aerial and acrobatics with Jasmine Aas, Kimberly Manahan and Kira Johnson

Teaching, performing and entertaining around Eagle County, the trio of Jasmine Aas, Kimberly Manahan and Kira Johnson often perform with Vail Mountain Cirque and PLAY in Minturn. When these wild ladies aren’t flying through the air and playing with acrobatics, they enjoy hiking, biking and taking in the beauty of Colorado. Their high-flying act at the Stars Variety Show will pair perfectly with the stunning Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater venue.

Soccer Showcase with The Steadman Clinic COPA

Led by Ricky Luevanos, YouthPower365’s Steadman Clinic COPA is a seven-week youth soccer program for children ages 3-17. The program aims to keep children throughout Eagle County engaged in the summer months while providing a structured environment that instills self-discipline, builds self-confidence and strengthens connections. Soccer stars from COPA will take the stage at the Stars Variety Show to show off their skills in a soccer showcase to a select musical playlist and have the audience itching for some time on the pitch.

In addition to these set performances, more entertaining surprises await the night of the event!
