Brought to you by the Vail Valley Partnership, the Eagle Valley Alliance for Sustainability and the Environmental Protection Agency Region 8.

Focusing on Sustainable Hospitality and the "greening" of hoteliers, restauranteurs, caterers and venues in the Vail Valley. The Big Green THINK seeks to inspire and connect hospitality with sustainability in our unique mountain community by providing businesses with the resources to achieve greater sustainability and to develop opportunities in our community to become more involved with local advocacy efforts and initiatives to create a more sutainable community for the future.

Keynote Speakers include <a href="upload/Glenn Hasek bio.docx" target="_blank">Glenn Hasek</a>, Publisher and Editor of Lodging News; <a href="upload/Richard Young.doc" target="_blank">Richard Young</a>, Senior Engineer/Director of Education for the Food Service Technology Center; <a href="upload/Mark Fischer bio.doc" target="_blank">Mark Fischer</a>, Chef/Owner of Six89 Restaurant & Phat Thai. 

Following the Keynote Speaker presentation will be two breakout sessions focusing on sustainability in the hotel and restaurant industries. Panelist speakers for the breakout session include John Gitchell, Sustainable Business Solutions; Melissa McLoota, Sonnenalp Resort of Vail; <a href="upload/Jeffrey Burrell bio.docx" target="_blank">Jeffrey Burrell</a>, Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa; <a href="upload/Brooke LaVan Bio.doc" target="_blank">Brooke LaVan</a>, Sustainable Settings; <a href="upload/Shelly McCandless bio.docx" target="_blank">Shelly McCandliss</a>, President of Eat Green Denver.

  1:30 - 2:15 p.m. - Opening Session with keynote speakers
  2:15 - 3:15 p.m. - (2) Breakout Sessions featuring one keynote speaker moderating a local panel. One panel will consist of hoteliers and the other of restauranteurs. 
  3:15 - 3:45 p.m. - Break & Expo
  3:45 - 4:30 p.m. - Closing Session - Panel
  4:30 - 5:30 p.m. - Mixer & Expo
