Partnership presents vendor certification program

The Vail Valley Partnership today announced the presentation of a Vendor Certification seminar on Tuesday, March 18 as part of its Lodging Quality Assurance (LQA) program that assures a valley-wide standard for lodging quality.

The Vendor Certification seminar is designed to educate local home furnishing vendors on LQA standards to ensure they meet the needs of homeowners when homeowners go to renovate or upgrade a property unit.

"We encourage all local home furnishing vendors to achieve certification to ease homeowner purchasing decisions," said Misty VanHeulen, lodging quality manager for the Partnership. "The greater number of vendors we can certify strengthens the valley's overall lodging standards as it assists and encourage homeowners to upgrade."

Vendor certification essentially means that the homeowner's purchases correctly meet LQA rating standards. Through follow up surveying and secret vendor shops by the Partnership, the LQA program will also ensure that participating vendors provide exceptional customer service. Launched last fall, the Vendor Certification program has since been well received by the community.

"Being a certified member has brought greater credibility to our business as it aligns us with the LQA program. Any local vendor should seek certification to be part of this unique community-wide program," said Lift Flooring Studio's Lindsey Sarro.
