About the Vail Valley Partnership

A Staple in the Community Since 1964

Vail Valley Partnership, a 501c(6) non-profit organization, has been engaged in the community from the early days of Vail, starting in 1964 as the Vail Resort Association.

We've grown over the years to represent the entire Vail Valley and to fit the needs of the business community through our Chamber programs including cost-savings programs, educational events, networking opportunities, advertising programs and cost-savings programs.

Vail Valley Partnership is the regional community development organization, dedicated to the economic vitality of the Vail Valley. We support local businesses. We unite key stakeholders. We lead collaborative efforts throughout the community.

With a membership of 800+ organizations that spans the Vail Valley and beyond, Vail Valley Partnership is dedicated to ensuring local business success and fostering regional economic vitality by offering local business tools & resources, promoting the Eagle River Valley to destination guests and initiating economic development efforts.

The Partnership’s efforts and benefit to the community include three distinct yet connected roles:

Chamber of Commerce: Business benefits and tools including member benefits, networking & educational events, signature programs, member savings & educational programming and marketing tools to benefit our members.

Destination Marketing Organization: Tourism promotion efforts encompass our group & leisure sales efforts and include production of Visit Vail Valley, The Official Visitor's Guides to the Vail Valley and managing our valley wide tourism information website at VisitVailValley.com, as well as a robust lodging booking engine at VailonSale.com. The Partnership's destination sales & marketing efforts resulted in $74,000,000+ of direct spending in the Eagle River Valley and $4,500,000 in state and local tax revenue in 2013.

Economic Development: The Economic Council of Eagle County helps lead regional economic development efforts including the Economic Research Center, Economic Development Leadership Council and the Eagle Air Alliance for air service programs to grow our airport. The goal of these various efforts is to work collaboratively with both private and public entities to enhance the economic prosperity of the region via tourism and support of the business community.
