Throughout the year, the Vail Valley Partnership coordinates a number of events for the local and regional business community. Each event has its own unique purpose, but all events have the common goal of providing partner businesses with the resources to make their business succeed. Most of our events fall in to three main categories: Networking, Educational and Recognition.
All Vail Valley Partnership events have an inherent networking component as they bring together the local business community. However, some events have the specific goal of helping area businesses establish new contacts and develop leads.
Business After Hours Mixers and the
Blue Jeans Lobster Networking Party both have lively after-hours formats where you can make new contacts and catch up with old on your own schedule. Our
Success in 60 Seconds, a speed networking event, is now paired with our Breakfast Scrambler to provide a more structured networking environment, where even the quiet business person can be guaranteed to get the word out on their business.
Our educational events are designed to provide the local business community with the most current information on business trends.
A View from the Top is a twice annual customer service event where a keynote speaker provides the tools and motivation to encourage local businesses to provide the world-renowned customer service that is expected by guests to the Vail Valley. The
Vail Valley Business Forum brings a panel of industry experts to Vail Valley, allowing local and regional businesses to engage in a unique conversation on the national and global economy, how it affects their business and how their business can affect it. Quarterly educational events regarding how to maximize your partnership and
Nonprofit Network Workshops are also offered. Our newest educational event is our series of focused panels called
Ask the Experts. This series is a bi-monthly, informal, rotating panel of local industry experts focused on a particular subject matter affecting small businesses. Each event will feature a new topic with new, knowledgeable and experienced speakers. Furthermore, at times, the Partnership will also offer programing on relevant community issues, such as the J-1 visa program
Acquiring Visa Employees: Questions Answered.
These events are held to honor businesses in Vail Valley that are exceeding standards and setting examples.
The Annual Gala and Vail Valley Success Awards recognize businesses that have excelled in one of six categories with a black-tie optional dinner and dancing event. The
Platinum Service Program Luncheon honors businesses that provided platinum service during the previous winter season.
While the Vail Valley Partnership takes the initiative on all these events, we are fortunate to have a community of businesses and organizations that help us make each and every event a success.
