Eagle’s deep roots as a ranch and farm town provide Fair & Rodeo guests a genuine Colorado experience. That old west flavor so unique to the Vail Valley is unmistakable at its featured event, the Pro Rodeo. The knock-down, drag out competition features the best wranglers in the West and starts nightly at 7:00pm Wednesday through Saturday.
The Texaco Country Showdown, America’s largest country music talent search, should prove equally as entertaining. Throughout the week kids of all ages will enjoy 4-H shows, carnival rides, food vendors, exhibits and contests. Now in its 72nd year, the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo tradition continues with a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere that welcomes all and revels in the spirit of the old West.
